Maybe I didn't have any expectations for this film, but after looking at it, I found that it turned out to be much better than I imagined.
The use of the camera at the beginning of the film is quite attractive. Later, after reading some evaluations, many authors believe that the subsequent plots are too memorized, and the accounts are running. On the contrary, I don't care too much about these, but there are some places where the excess is very sudden, and the plot appears incoherent. The character was so intriguing to me that the turning point in Mesrine's life, as far as the film is concerned, came when he killed a war criminal during the Algerian War. I specially checked it on WIKI after the first episode, and it is indeed Ennemi Public No 1.
