Glory or ordinary? Or just to prove existence?

It's similar to watching 21 grams, the illusion of death, and the butterfly effect. When the ending song sounded, the corners of my eyes were a little wet. Bruce Springsteen's voice was like a fist hitting his heart, and the emotions accumulated throughout the film were released with the sound of the ending song.
In many films, after the protagonist finds the value of existence, due to various reasons, he once again embarks on his own road of no return because of the person or thing he cherishes in his heart. In the eyes of others, it is either a tragedy, or the protagonist's last struggle, or it is to go to the world he wants. And all they want is a place in the hearts of others, to prove that they existed, not just those trophies or medals.
Clint Eastwood inevitably comes to mind when watching this movie, although he has only seen four of them, Unforgivable, Mysterious River, Letters from Iwo Jima and Million Dollar Baby. Except for the letter from Iwo Jima, the three films were filled with all kinds of helpless realities, which shattered the hopes that existed in the film one by one.
A monster for a while, a monster for life. Heroes and heroes are actually the same for ordinary people, but they are different from us. However, they are also human, and the fact that they are superior to ordinary people does not mean that they are superhuman in every way. Jin Yong's novels describe countless times that heroic teenagers live in seclusion with their relatives in the mountains and forests after becoming famous, but the old knights who want to retire always fail to end well.
The protagonist is a typical representative who only cared about his career and ignored his family when he was young. The various honors he received did not give him the satisfaction of old age, whether it was spiritual or material. When the hero is beautiful, everyone attracts attention, but when he is down, few people help, and what's more, the geese are plucked. That's the reality, personal sacrifices don't necessarily get what they deserve.
After going through peaks and valleys, he finally understood what he really needed, found his lost daughter, found a spiritual support, and started his new life. But yet another mistake knocked him back on track, and what could he do after his last hope was shattered? Does he really want to go back to wrestling or just to end his life that has long been unbearable?
When a person is willing to give up everything to start a new life, the people he cares about cannot let go of some things around him that he thinks are indispensable. The reason is not that it is impossible, but that it is difficult to live without them. Archimedes said: Give me a fulcrum and I can move the earth. The same is true for life. Just like the two ends of a scale, a small pebble can change the direction of the balance, or it can become more skewed.
It can be imagined that his loss after facing the heroine's rejection is just like what the clown in the dark night knight said, just a slight push. It is easier to go to hell than to go to heaven.
Rather than acting, I prefer to use reality to describe this film. It is also about sports challenges. Sunday and this one gave me the impact of authenticity. Every time I hit it, my muscles were tense and my opponent was wrestling. Although, One is about belief, the other is about existence.

The Wrestler quotes

  • Necro Butcher: Are you cool with the staples?

    Randy 'The Ram' Robinson: Staples?

Necro Butcher: Staple gun... Not so bad on the way in, except it's a little scary, you know - you got this metal thing pressed up against you. Gonna leave some marks, have to deal with a little blood loss.

  • Randy 'The Ram' Robinson: Give this to your son, it's an authentic Randy "the Ram" action figure. Tell him not to lose it, it's a $300 collectors item.

    Cassidy: Really?

    Randy 'The Ram' Robinson: No.
