The reason why The Village has this evaluation is nothing more than the audience's expected psychology.
For those who enter the theater with the mentality of watching horror movies, the fright index and the ending are absolutely unacceptable.
This book is understandable. After all, from the perspective of preview and publicity This is supposed to be a horror movie,
but you should be a little bit prepared when you meet this director,

but for me, it was because I knew the ending first, and I was curious about it.
The Village should not be regarded as a horror movie. look, strictly speaking, it is regarded as an advise [wake] World fable
period to come forward and face the fear of love story

, but after watching the finished film I am most interested in is because of ignorance and fear generated by
that inexpressible fear of

"humanity's oldest and most intense emotion is fear, fear of the oldest and strongest is the fear of the unknown"
- Philip Howard · Love Cleft

and create a Cthulhu masters of horror fiction myth to say
in the end because of ignorance and paranoia created, or was true, or is now with the fear of the unknown ??
the Village with such a false image to catch people die in uncertain outcome opened everyone A harmless joke
[but obviously too much for the aforementioned audience~]

Noah Percy: Um, I'll cry quarts.

Ivy Walker: What if we strike a deal?

    Noah Percy: Yeah, capital idea!

Ivy Walker: It would be prudent to keep our deal a secret. Can you do that?

Noah Percy: Can I keep a secret? Like a chuch mouse.

Ivy Walker: You needn't go into the quiet room if you take an oath to never strike any person again.

Noah Percy: No hitting, no hitting.

    Ivy Walker: No, no hitting.

    Noah Percy: No hitting.

    Ivy Walker: No hitting.

[They shake hands. Ivy points to her cheek. Noah kisses it]

Ivy Walker: The deal is struck
