Magic Emerald and Crystal Skull

Two days ago, I reviewed the old Hong Kong film "Magic Emerald" I watched as a child, and suddenly wondered if Uncle Spielberg had also taken a peek at this film. The plot of "Indiana Jones 4: The Crystal Skull" is surprisingly similar to that of "Magic Emerald". Even the villain is the KGB, and the big villains are eventually wiped out or taken away by aliens. It's just that the protagonists are naturally different, one is Chinese and the other is American. There is also an emerald, one is a crystal, one is a pet, and the other is a head. There are also movies of the same nature, such as Zhou Xingxing’s "Yangtze River No. 7", shouldn’t it be necessary to introspect? Fortunately, Zhou Xingxing didn't name the film "Agate Dog" or something.
