A bestseller comparable to "The Lord of the Rings"

It's another movie based on a novel. The original novel of this film is very popular in the West, even on par with The Lord of the Rings. In recent years, two themes have been particularly favored by Hollywood: manga adaptations and magical styles. These films often make a fortune at the box office, and peripheral products such as games continue to sell well. It was under the influence of this ethos that Disney finally took a knife on this famous fairy tale from the Western world.
To say that this film is a "Harry Potter"-style "Lord of the Rings" is actually an overestimation. It may be that the last decisive battle made me feel a little "Lord of the Rings". From a production point of view, the film is far from "The Lord of the Rings" and "Harry Potter". It may be that "Disney" is not good at making such money-burning films. Many CGs can see the traces of keying. There is no doubt that the script is very powerful, but the filming is really not very good, like a glass of boiled water. Maybe it's because I haven't read the original, maybe it's too young, anyway, I don't have a cold with this film.
The few children in this film have to look and have no looks, and have no acting skills. I really don't know how the crew chose them. Look at the little ghosts in "Harry Potter", how clever. I still think the otter couple are a little cute. Unicorns, centaur, griffin, tauren, everything in the western magical world is shown in this film, which makes people feel like they are playing "hero invincible", huh.
There are 7 chapters in the original book. I heard that all of them are going to be made into a movie. It is bound to be another cash cow. The film is extremely popular in the West, and the box office can tell everything. It can be seen that the original work is indeed very famous in the Western world. I am more interested in the original work than in the movie, so I have time to learn more. If this film is released in our country, it is recommended that children can watch it.
PS: The original author of the novel and the author of "The Lord of the Rings" are college classmates...The legend continues in this century.

Edmund Pevensie: Shut up! He's coming!

Peter Pevensie: You know, I'm not sure you two have quite got the idea of this game.

Lucy Pevensie: Weren't you wondering where I was?

Edmund Pevensie: That's the point. That was why he was seeking you!

Susan Pevensie: Does this mean I win?

Peter Pevensie: I don't think Lucy wants to play anymore.

  • Susan Pevensie: I'm just trying to be realistic!

Peter Pevensie: No, you're trying to be smart, as usual!
