To say that this film is a "Harry Potter"-style "Lord of the Rings" is actually an overestimation. It may be that the last decisive battle made me feel a little "Lord of the Rings". From a production point of view, the film is far from "The Lord of the Rings" and "Harry Potter". It may be that "Disney" is not good at making such money-burning films. Many CGs can see the traces of keying. There is no doubt that the script is very powerful, but the filming is really not very good, like a glass of boiled water. Maybe it's because I haven't read the original, maybe it's too young, anyway, I don't have a cold with this film.
The few children in this film have to look and have no looks, and have no acting skills. I really don't know how the crew chose them. Look at the little ghosts in "Harry Potter", how clever. I still think the otter couple are a little cute. Unicorns, centaur, griffin, tauren, everything in the western magical world is shown in this film, which makes people feel like they are playing "hero invincible", huh.
There are 7 chapters in the original book. I heard that all of them are going to be made into a movie. It is bound to be another cash cow. The film is extremely popular in the West, and the box office can tell everything. It can be seen that the original work is indeed very famous in the Western world. I am more interested in the original work than in the movie, so I have time to learn more. If this film is released in our country, it is recommended that children can watch it.
PS: The original author of the novel and the author of "The Lord of the Rings" are college classmates...The legend continues in this century.
