This is a prophecy~

The following are conjectures about the truth, just leave a time capsule and see how well you guessed in the end.

A very common technique in mystery novels, called "to hide a leaf, it is best to hide in the forest." In
the end, many people will die in this drama, and the methods of death are also different. It looks like indiscriminate killing. Maybe, In fact, the murderer really wanted to kill those few.
All other murders are blindfolded. Hide the leaves in the forest. Like Agatha's ABC murders.
Seven years ago the murderer might still alive, among them, the truth may involve more than one person to that
killer knows who the killer is that he used this wedding implement revenge.

Although the film has always claimed "twenty-five suspects, one murderer"
, it doesn't actually tell us that these people died because of the same thing.
For example, the male protagonist's uncle may really be killed by his father-in-law, and the purpose is to silence him. This murder has nothing to do with the main plot of the story. The killer from years ago, killed a few people in order to accomplish his purpose, and the other murders were not done by him.
This is literally a far-fetched interpretation. The murderer of the main plot is indeed one, and the deaths of others are coincidences.
So that's it, real murders and accidental murders interspersed, and everyone starts to spin out of control.

There is a third possibility, perhaps not what we imagined, that the murderer kills for revenge or to prevent the wedding. but to save others. Why the male protagonist's uncle came to the island with a gun and money, I don't know. I'm guessing there's a group of people ready to take advantage of this island wedding to do something that will endanger everyone else? These people went to the island and eliminated anyone who would hinder their plan, but the murderer in this film had to use murder to stop the plan without being able to explain it to everyone. Just like the duel between Yue and L, see who can find the other first and kill the other.
Of course, this conjecture is also very far-fetched to the setting of "there is only one murderer".
