One summer, we used to herd sheep there

It's been more than three years since I watched this movie for the first time. I don't know how many times, when I was determined to write something for this movie, I was struggling to draw a pen. Even though there are thousands of words, I choked silently.
This love is too big, I may never fully understand it.
It was like that afternoon, Ennis was talking on the phone with Lureen. Lureen said, "...Jack said he wanted to scatter his ashes on Brokeback Mountain. I don't know where... I guess the birds sang there, and the whiskey is always drinking."
Ennis paused, his mouth twitched. Said: "One summer, we used to herd sheep there."
I closed my eyes and exhaled, fearing that I would collapse in the next second.
It's that simple, everything, from the beginning to the present, twenty years, a lifetime. Ennis can only say this to the outside world.
There is only one sentence that this society can understand.

What about us? I reflect on it.
After watching Brokeback Mountain, there are two results-seeing love, and not seeing love. The former will be moved somewhat, while the latter, I just want to list some scenes:
On the second night in the tent, Jack said "It's all right, it's all right" the timidity and lingering of the two (put aside your prejudices and feel it); Ennis's reluctance and the fight between the two before going down the mountain ( Later, Ennis said, "I thought you still hated my punch." It means that he has been thinking of Jack for four years); one looked back in the rearview mirror when he was separated, and the other was "sad to vomiting"; four years later The earth-shattering kiss during the reunion; the one-of-a-kind reunion in the past two decades and the 14-hour drive each time without interruption; Jack drove happily after learning that Ennis was divorced, and finally drove home crying. After Jack went to Mexico, Ennis was angry and even threatened to "kill him"; the phrase "I wish I knew how to quit you" and the desperate hug by the lake; the sweet embrace in front of the fire that morning, it seemed like a world away; two A fused shirt with blood; the number 17 on the mailbox representing "Brokeback Mountain"; the eternal loneliness and nostalgia after the sentence "Jack, I swear"...
There is no sentence "I love you", but everywhere It's all "I love you".
To borrow a comment from IMDB: "No love? I have never seen so much love between two human beings".

Of course, there is no movie that everyone agrees with, let alone a sensitive and highly controversial movie. But for those who “understand” Brokeback Mountain, this is undoubtedly the deepest, powerful, and restrained love on the screen (or as we know it). Ang Lee, in this post-modern surreal montage...A variety of artistic techniques emerge in endlessly today, suddenly using a film that is completely pure, pure, and restrained enough to kill you, leaving us at a loss.

There is no doubt that this is a classic. Time will tell.

This is not a movie to raise the flag for homosexuality. It is not even really about homosexuality. I have no doubt about that. It is just testing our tolerance, understanding, and humanity. Jack said, it’s not anyone's business, it's our own business. Ennis said, if you can't change anything, you can only endure it. The two were so kind that they were heartbreaking. They didn't accuse anyone, didn't scold the society, or blame others. They just love each other quietly and stay together in pain. However, this is also not allowed. It was like that early in the morning when Ennis found the lamb that had been ripped apart, abandoned on the side of the road shockingly. In the end, they also became the victims of the times and were put on the altar of God in a fair manner.

I wonder if God also sheds tears?

Someone asked why they want to get married? Because in that era, only in this way can they survive. The author of the novel once said, It's all about survival, everything is for survival. My sympathy for the women in the movie (especially Alma) is no less than Jack and Ennis, they should never be the funeral of this love. However, people's prejudice, narrow-mindedness, and selfishness have ruined everything.

To this day, I can't remember how many times I have seen Brokeback Mountain. Every time I read it, I will shed tears, and I must have a new understanding. Sometimes I even feel embarrassed for my sensibility. But if you think about it carefully, how many things can you love so deeply in a person's life? Is it worth your thoughts and tears and giggles? The fact is that I, who can't invade all kinds of poisons, are indifferent when facing all the so-called "tear gas" and show people with a hard face during the day. Only on this mountain, in front of two people, my inner protection completely breaks the bank.
But so far, I can't say that I fully understand the movie. Because after all, I'm still young, and there are too many things I haven't experienced yet. But some things are destined to affect a person for a lifetime. When we are old and unconscious, we can still tell exactly how they appeared and how we missed them. With them, maybe we can close our eyes safely while we are still dead.

For me, this is no longer a movie, but more like a gift, a savior. For the first time in my more than 20 years of life, I felt that my purpose was clear, neither humble nor overbearing, and the true beauty of love. The soberness after wiping away my tears makes me fearless. I believe that many people feel the same way.

Can you say that such a movie is not great.

(To the many Jack Twist and Ennis Del Mar in reality, and Heath Ledger in heaven, well.)

attached: I’m online I read countless comments, Chinese and English. I have seen countless people moved, crying, thinking, and even changed by it. Regardless of men and women, husbands and wives, homosexuals, heterosexuals, elderly and children. worldwide. As long as there is a human place, it can resonate, or at least, understand. Countless people began to express their gratitude and admiration for this movie with "I have never written anything for any movie..." (The most embarrassing thing is that every comment must mention Heath Ledger's name, he hadn't left at that time). I shed tears when I watched it. These words from the heart, their stories, their feelings, the changes in their concepts, and their deeper understanding of "love". I think the goodness of human nature is the majority after all. It supports and promotes this society, so that our spiritual home will not collapse suddenly.
This is just the power of a two-hour movie.

I have written a review of this before, the movie is good, but there is a word called "tong wife" nowadays, so I think it's not that much effort.

I watched it after reading the high reviews. I don’t think it’s as good as what netizens say. To be honest, except for the last scene of the shirt hanging there, I was touched. I didn’t feel anything before.
