Any accident that occurs in the film is actually the inner side of all the characters in the play. Because of life, because of work, because of friends, because of colleagues, because of too many things, I have to get used to the status quo of numbness.
But in fact, in the heart of each of them, there is a place that is eager to touch, but has never been touched. For example, Jenny does not love her boyfriend, but is also used to the current way of life. Everything is untouched by Robert It has become a habit before.
And Robert showed up.
Because of his seemingly coincidental touch, the innermost point of everyone was released. But unexpectedly, the final result of these small dots leads to the same result: death.
Jenny is dead: because her inner point is uncovered. The death of the younger brother is expected to be warmed by Robert, but the feelings that can never be embraced, the departure of friends and the lack of support, the lonely world, everything, let Jenny finally decide to die, of course, if Robert did not appear, Maybe Jenny is still living a life of numbness and not what she wants most. But, in the end, she made a choice.
The old man is dead: Because of being involved in trouble, he accidentally saved a bullet for Robert, but careful movie lovers can definitely find that there is a scene where the old man brought Robert to the room and said something like this: "My wife When I left, I also thought about going together, you understand that kind of perennial feeling. But the magic is, after a year, I am still alive, and now I have nothing to fear about death. (The meaning is no longer What to remember and regret.)". So in the play, his death was arranged.
Greg died: because of youthful recklessness, because of the urge to love, because of the hatred of the rival, the hatred of the man who brought him into so much trouble. Died in an accidental collision during a beating, his ending is very dramatic, but very life-like and inevitable.
Ex-wife Nickie died: because he was out of control, not in a world, but out of true love. Died in the incident that he weaved and participated in, and was accidentally cut in the neck by a knife during the beating.
Needless to say, she really still has feelings for Robert in her heart. From the joke in the divorce meeting, from the chest contact in the precinct warehouse to find the passport, to call Robert from 3:00 in the middle of the night, and seriously say "I really hope never." I didn't know you" (because I can't make myself really not love you). But she and Robert are not from the same world, and have very different lifestyles. To be strong, the complex inner world of a woman should be fully reflected in her through the small details of life.
In the end, only Robert saw his shadow from the window of the room alone.
Is it an accident? Is it a coincidence? Is it a deep desire?
Or the owl under the starry sky, hearing your inner call and giving a response?
