Crazy World

Before this, it is said that "The Simpsons" has been broadcast in the United States for n years, but I have never watched it. I got to know them from this movie version.
It’s a very special cartoon that talks about a lot of things and needs to be focused on watching it, because some of the bridges that point to the current malpractice, you may pass by when you inadvertently, besides, Americans’ funny methods are different from ours. If you are not used to it, you may not be able to laugh. In short, after reading it, you will feel that the world is crazy and the Americans are crazy. Thinking about it again, among these social problems, we have always thought that only our country exists, and developed countries have no such worries. In fact, otherwise, environmental pollution, lack of love in the family, incompetence of the government... and such cartoons have been released globally. I have to say that at least some people in the United States are laughing at themselves. In reflection, I see their soberness, one Kind of self-confidence.

The film has been mocking certain things, maybe a bit exaggerated, but it's all reality. When I watched the film, I was always admiring, because it was so exciting, it was impossible to remember everything after watching it, but a few scenes still impressed me.

1. Regarding environmental pollution: the band’s live performances are very popular, but when they mentioned environmental protection, they encountered fans throwing trash at them to show their disgust. The best part is that afterwards you found that the band’s stage was built on the lake. Corrupted their stage, and finally they imitated the scene in "Titanic" and played the last song for the audience before the stage sank to the bottom of the lake, which was quite tragic. Dad Simpson dumped a lot of manure into the already heavily polluted lake in order to catch up with the donuts on sale. This is the fuse of the crisis in the play. Donuts, fried junk food, unhealthy; ignoring warnings, dumping feces, no regrets afterwards.

2. Regarding the lack of love in the family: It is mainly manifested in the lack of respect for the elderly and the lack of love for the young. The whole family got out of the car, but trapped Grandpa Simpson in the car alone. When Dad Simpson found out, he just unlocked the car and turned around and left without noticing that his dad was wrapped in a blanket and couldn't get out of the car by himself. The most vivid expression of this is the relationship between Simpson's father and son Bart Jr. Speaking of Papa Simpson, this selfish but a little naive man has too many not: playing dangerous games on the roof regardless of the safety of children; giving mercy and love to a pet pig but not his wife and children. As a result, his son hoped that the father of the Flanders family next door would become his father, because his real father had never cared for him, and would only choke him when he did something wrong. That cup of cocoa, that time of fishing, it was so warm.

3. Regarding the government's incompetence: First of all, the film feels that the government is hypocritical and perfunctory. When the mayor inspected the protective wall against pollution dumping, there was a person who deliberately said that the protective wall was so high that he repeatedly failed to throw the pollution. In fact, the wall was very low, and the mayor also turned his eyes and closed his eyes. They were fooled. The other scene is ironic about the president, and that president is called Schwarzenegger. He never reads when he chooses a motion, but just chooses one randomly, especially the line that he stated that he is "to lead, not to read". Super exciting. It seems that Schwarzenegger still has a long way to go from the governor of California to the president of the United States.

Of course, when most people in the world go crazy, some people still stay awake. Lisa, the little girl from the Simpsons, Mrs. Simpson, and Mr. Flanders. Lisa attaches great importance to environmental protection. Mrs. Simpson once left because of her husband's confusion and selfishness. The gentle Mr. Flanders gave Little Barthes father's warmth. Of course, in the end Mr. Simpson also realized his selfishness, found the truth, repented and renewed, and reunited with his family.

The purpose of showing the crazy world is to tell us that madness will only bring evil results for ourselves. Only by thinking about others and maintaining the environment for living together; thinking about the family, giving love and care, this world is not crazy.

  • Panicky Man: [as the dome is being lowered] Oh, what do I do? I don't know what to do! 'Cause if I stay I'm trapped. If I leave I'm alone. Oh God. In! Out! In! Out! I never saw Venice!

[is crushed by edge of dome]

  • Ned Flanders: Bart! Crawl across. Hurry.

Bart Simpson: But if they see you helping us, they'll kill you.

Ned Flanders: I'm sure your father would do the same for...

    [Bart just stares at him]

Ned Flanders: Point taken. Now, hustle your bustles.
