in an abandoned church, nursing Shi Hanna took care of a patient's face it completely destroyed, and no one knows who he is, where he comes from, look like, except that he called "The English Patient."
Hannah fed him plums, and the patient groaned repeatedly: plum plum.
Hannah read him his only history book, and he repeatedly corrected her pronunciation.
He recalled the past...
Love During
World War I, the Hungarian historian Count Amarsh was investigating in the Sahara Desert and met the British spy Jeff and his wife Catherine Catherine. In a desert cave and after a night of sandstorms, Catherine the Amarsh fish throbbed.
They fell in love with each other. Their love was so beautiful that it was forgotten that it was an extramarital affair.
However, poor Jeff was furious. In a survey, he drove a plane with Catherine and rushed towards Emma...
Jeff died on the spot, while Catherine was seriously injured. Emma was holding Catherine in his arms. Lian came to the cave with their fond memories. He left food, books, and lights for her, and he promised her that he would come back to save her. So he walked three days and three nights from the desert to the town, but because of his strange name, he was mistaken for a German by the Allies and was taken to prison.
Amarsh fled halfway. In order to save Catherine, he had to betray his allies and give the desert map he drew to the enemy...
Finally, he fulfilled his promise and came to the cave to save his lover, however, Catherine The lotus bones are cold.
Amarsh drove a British plane filled with German fuel into the desert. The plane was burned down. Amarsh was burned all over his body and was rescued by Arabs.
love two
An Indian officer, Kip, came to the church, and he was in charge of dismantling the bombs planted by the German troops in the war zone around the church.
When Hannah found an old piano in church, she played a minor key. Kip came nervously to find the bomb, because the Germans liked to hide bombs in pianos.
Hannah collects a box of olive oil for Kip to use as a shampoo.
Love is slowly fermenting between the two.
Firefly lights the way, and Kip shows Hannah a Renaissance fresco.
However, the Germans surrendered and the war ended. While Indian soldiers were revelling in the square, an officer was killed by a bomb left by the Germans, and Kip blamed himself.
Kip went to Florence, and Hannah moved to another town.
A
lot of actors went to see The English Patient because of Juliette Binoche, but I prefer Ralph Fennies. The lingering melancholy between his brows is irresistible.
Maybe he doesn't need to act, just one look is a classic.
Music
I'm not familiar with classical music.
But in my humble opinion, The English Patient's score really makes it a movie epic.
The desert is wild sand, and the white sand is light. With the soundtrack beyond the borders, it is really difficult to criticize Aunt Qiong Yao's "You are the wind, I am the sand". Perhaps, this is really the highest state of love.
The English Patient, the English patient.
War, like love, requires patience.
When love is beautiful to the extreme, the stains in the war are also reduced to a point. Love is bound to appear tragic in war.
After reading "The English Patient", I know what love is.
When one falls in love with another, nothing else matters: friendship, country, looks.
After reading "The English Patient", I know what romance is.
Candles fly. Kip pulls Hannah by the rope, one heart to the other. In the smoke, suck the fragrance of art.
After reading "The English Patient", I realized what the beauty of the desert is.
The grief of Emmaus when he carried the dead Catherine into the cave. The two seem to have become two symbols of freedom, like swimming symbols on the stone wall.
After watching "The English Patient", I realized that the most beautiful part of a woman is called the notch on the ridge.
