The English translation of flowers is based on the original book "I fioretti di San Francesco", which is the basis for the film. However, the literal translation of fioretti as flowers is quite absurd. According to the "Italian-Chinese Dictionary", fioretto is different from fiore (flower), and has five meanings such as small flower, essence, [Zong] asceticism, and embellishment.
Because of the position, it is almost as close to the translation as "The Travels of St. Francis".
The Franciscan order is one of the four major religious orders, and the "Holy" name cannot be omitted.
"I fioretti di San Francesco" consists of 53 articles, the first of which blatantly states: When St. Francis and his companions started their career, there were 13 people, just as Christ Jesus and his 12 disciples were together.
