The music reminded me that the movie ended, but the melody took me to the next summer, summer after summer. Will jeans come back? Will the magic continue? Will life be better?
1. Friendship does not end loneliness.
Having a friendship isn't saying goodbye to all the loneliness this summer. You see, there is still so much to face. When Carmen felt estranged from her mother, when Lina knew her beloved boyfriend was getting married, when Bridget cried over and over again because of her mother, when Tibby was confused about her relationship with her boyfriend—still alone, always There are times like this, when no one is around, and the darkness of the world must be faced alone. Even inexplicably angry, hurting the closest people. Who among them has not been confused? Who among them did not cry or doubt? What was sent back and forth was jeans and simple words, and what was not sent was the unbearable burden that cannot be shared.
2. But friendship is a powerful booster.
But, like these amazing jeans, friendship is something magical. Friends, maybe the first one you think of when you are happy is not her, but when you are sad, you are always the first to think of that safe and pampering smile and encouragement. When Carmen's mother gave birth, Tibby, who was arguing with her a few days ago, was with her. Helping Lina find her love were the other three good friends with different personalities but worth a lifetime of companionship. Therefore, they have the courage to face small setbacks one after another; therefore, they finally chose their own right path; so although they cried, they finally laughed.
3. We can share more.
Summer is short. Life is much longer. Jeans got lost in Greece. After all, they have to learn to grow up on their own. They have to learn to face their summers in other and better ways. The question of whether or not jeans will come back is as mysterious to me as it is for girls later in life. They can share more, besides jeans, sadness, happiness, and many, many more. So are we.
Sometimes I like sad movies because they are memorable, but I prefer such light-hearted movies because it gives me warmth.
