The story of four students (three boys and one girl) in a boarding school in a small town in the south of France in the 1960s. In addition to the restlessness of adolescence, the bewilderment and desire for sex, there are political, racial, and familial factors that influence their relationship. Youth is like a sunny day, but also turbulent like a storm. At the end, the four young people meet to go swimming by the river, and put aside the things that bother them. The youth, who is as fragile as a reed but tough, has learned to be strong in growth. The director gave the most poetic description of the growth of youth.
