The Penguin played by Danny DeVito didn't think it was too brilliant. On the contrary, after watching the entire "Batman Returns", the colors in the film gave me the pleasure of watching cartoons as a child. Although the film's gloomy dark themes and satire of Gotham City's incompetent government were brushed off by the director, the negative portrayal of Max Shreck (Christopher Walken), the all-evil businessman, was quite successful, and it was a wonderful one. Pen: In the film, the Penguin said to Max, "You and I are both monsters. I was born outside, and you grew up inside." It gave a glimpse of the darkness of Gotham City's society at that time. Compared to previous Batman films, the dark component of this film was cut by director Tim Burton, adding more teasing and S&M shots. The "Catwoman" holding a leash and stretching her sexy legs is the 34-year-old actress Michelle Pfeiffer, who won the Silver Bear Award for Love Field in 1992.
Of course, the facialized performances and the slightly routine plot did not stop the film's box office when it was released in the United States that year. The New York Times film review said: "Americans love Batman, and when a movie comes out, people always flock to it. . . The mysterious, sympathetic and playful character temperament created in films such as "The Ghost Family" and "Little Ghost Adventures" can also be seen in this film.
My personal favorite is the last scene between batman and catwoman, where Batman says to Catwoman, "We are the same... We are the same, split in the center." and then pulls off the mask. Selina finished the narration in tears, and when Bruce used his hand to soothe her, the vicious Catwoman was back -- I just can't leave with myself. Saying that, he grabbed Batman's left cheek with a paw.
Love this ending, Meow...

Over the last 50+ years Batman has pulled a lot of very cool equipment and weaponry from his utility belt. And with the advances in science and electronics much of this equipment could really be built today . With the miniaturization of components and micro-circuitry available much of this equipment is within reach of the techno-savy electronics experimenter.
