I love them with an almost humble heart

This is a better movie than I imagined, faithful to the original book, wonderful performance, I give 5 stars.

The sadness of Shishen is that he is a genius, but he is unhappy. He has a great mathematical mind, but he repeats his meaningless life every day. Live in a shabby house, work a job you don't like, teach stupid students who can't teach, then go to work and go to get off work, walking dead.

It would not be an exaggeration to say that he was 'born for mathematics'.

But he is human after all, he also has to eat and live, and he also has the desire of a man. When his life was dark and he was about to give up, he met her 'once in a lifetime', or 'them'.

That scene of hanging is ridiculous. The originally desperate situation suddenly became very happy because of the visit of the mother and daughter next door. That's probably how life is, isn't it? You can never predict what will happen in the next second, not even a genius like Shishen.

For this genius, meeting them must be a puzzle that is more unsolvable than any mathematical problem, right? Saved him from the edge of the cliff at the line of life and death, giving him hope of living. They made this fringe man who "like Yukawa not believe in miracles in his bones, but only in science" began to want to believe in the existence of miracles.

What a warm feeling, love!

The world is no longer boring, and life is no longer difficult. Apart from numbers, there are still such beautiful things! For Shishen, this is simply incredible. Even if he never picks it up, even if he looks at them like this forever, he will be satisfied. Shishen loved the mother and daughter from a distance, as if 'love to the extreme and could not bear to touch', almost in a humble mood.

It's a pity that even this little happiness can't last. The death of a scum ended all this.

Stone God probably planned to sacrifice himself from the beginning, I think so. From his 'heard the sound of the suspected murder scene next door, and knocked on the door', it can be seen that he is mentally prepared, no matter what the mother and daughter do, he will do everything to protect them, even if it is murder.

So, he went down the road of 'having to commit a crime with a genius mind', so sad that he himself didn't realize it, and even felt happy. This is love that mortals cannot understand, an expression that belongs to genius.

Even though he was stigmatized, Shishen was not depressed at all in prison. He looked at the ceiling and imagined the 'four-color problem' with extremely clear eyes. Those are the eyes of a guardian who is willing to sacrifice everything for his faith, and the eyes of a guardian who is willing to sacrifice his life.

He has raised love to the height of faith. For him, the mother and daughter next door are not just 'favorite objects', they are simply his gods, the gods who save his soul. Isn't devotion to God the ultimate love?

Love and faith blend into one, blurring each other's boundaries. In the movie, everyone thinks that Shishen loves the mother, but I want to say that Shishen actually loves 'them', he loves 'mother and daughter'.

This is another level higher than the pure love between men and women. His love is some kind of unspeakable love. It is a selfless love that does not ask for possession. Their happiness is his happiness. So in the end it was all revealed, and when no one was happy, he cried and wailed like a beast.

Hearing the cry, it would be a lie to say that he was not moved. For this reason, I recommend everyone to check it out.
