I've watched too many heavy movies lately. I think this movie has too much to tell. The civilized side is often the most savage. Perhaps the demise of this great horseback civilization is inevitable, but it is still heartbreaking to watch. Civilized people hunt animals uncontrollably. The most unforgivable thing is that those soldiers shot the wolf. Really worrying. But the reality is so cruel. I still remember the phrase "You will always be my friend" that radiated in the wind at the end of the film. So pure. But often the purer things. more damage.
