Yesterday I watched a movie "National Treasure" starring Nicolas Cage, (National Treasure), it should be an old movie from the year before.
After all, it is a purely commercial film, so I didn't have much expectations, but it was quite pleasant to watch.
There is no majestic momentum of a standard Hollywood blockbuster, nor a lot of fighting scenes or dazzling stunt shots, just like that, but your mind can never get ahead and guess the next storyline.
Built on a large amount of historical knowledge, the treasure hunt begins with an ivory pipe, and then uses the pipe as the key to open the door of the treasure house, forming a perfect circle.
Although the whole story is not exciting, it is also compact and not sloppy.
"Mission Impossible 3" even draws on the "trick" of stealing treasure, which is
still the routine of "hero + beauty + treasure hunt + treasure hunt + treasure protection", a typical commercial film operation mode. When making the National Treasure, the screenwriter boldly fabricated part of American history and fixed the location of the treasure on a dollar bill.
The screenwriter asked the protagonist to obtain the "Declaration of Independence" by extraordinary means, and played a trick on the FBI and the museum's security system. I believe that few screenwriters in China dare to do this.
Even if they dare to write, it is estimated that no producer dares to shoot.
Even if you dare to shoot, it won't be screened through censorship in the end.
The reunion-style cliché ending, the win-win of the money and beauty, although everyone can guess, they still enjoy it.
I have always liked movies like this, 100 minutes easy and very comfortable to watch.
In terms of actors: I
won’t say much about Nicolas Cage. Supporting actor Justin Bartha is also
very brilliant. Almost all of the laughter is related to this young man who is a little bit "talking". It is a wonderful green leaf.
Especially at the end of the film. After everyone has gone through all the disasters to find the treasure, the handsome boy burst into tears, but because he saw the stairs leading to the exit, people couldn’t help but laugh.
