"The Crossroads of Death" (See prang): The Return of the Dead Part 2
- "Death Reminder"/"Tit for an Eye": The bloody feud of the return of the resentful witch
(Text / Vulcan Ji) is

ugly; beautiful. strong; weak. rich; poor.
How do we define each pair of phrases. - Vulcan Ji. Inscription.

tyrannical. from start to finish. A group of people abuses one person until death; then, the abuser and the abused switch identities and continue to abuse. That's all for this short film. As the second short in the entire "Death's Crossing" movie, this one is perhaps the most violent.
I'm starting to wonder how to define the aesthetics of violence; because while watching this movie, the violence is there, but the beauty isn't. So much so that I can begin to wonder where the real meaning of this short film exists. Because if I ask for it in the aesthetics of violence, it is obviously not enough to convince me; and as a film that advertises horror and horror; this film does not seem to have the slightest intimidating effect.

Of course, putting such a requirement in the entire "Crossroads of Death", the whole movie is also not as amazing or violent as the Thai horror movie in the impression. Therefore, this short film may be regarded as quite satisfactory.
As I write this, I suddenly feel a little lost. It seems that in the whole process of watching movies, after a genre movie that I liked because of my infatuation with a certain director or a certain style, the level of movies made by the same director and style seems to have become a law. Like a franchise, the first is always the most classic; the next sequels start to be uneven. When this view has become a law and is constantly confirmed by the sequel movies again and again, I began to look less forward to the later movies.

This is actually quite sad. It's like a Japanese-Korean-style horror movie; there's the Ringu series, the Ju-on series, and the Whispering Corridors series. Then, Japanese and Korean horror movies seem to be forever fixed in the classics and can't come out again. The repetition of styles and the depravity of course made subsequent Japanese and Korean horror films less terrifying; but we can still say that this film was a rule, that film barely completed its mission, and so on. The implication does not seem to have the slightest blame.
I don't know, it's because my taste and requirements for movies have decreased; or, I acquiesce to the fact that latecomers don't follow the rules. So, from the shock of the "Evil Falls" (Long khong) series to me to this "Death Crossroads", it may have been foreseen from many years ago; so, this level of Thai horror movies is not enough To provoke my anger without letting me yell at him.

On the contrary, instead of disappointing me too much, the film made me a little overjoyed. Why do you say this way? Not because the movie breaks this ironclad rule, but because the movie does stay within the norm. And because the expectations for this movie were not high enough before, after watching it, I felt - well, this is not a bad movie.
In fact, the biggest factor in whether we are disappointed with a movie is not what kind of level the movie was made; it is because of how much we expected the movie. When we just watch a movie without expectations, we will not be disappointed, but sometimes we will be as happy as picking up money on the road. Maybe it's because I've been wandering in the world of movies for too long, and because the high expectations that I once had are always being beaten down, so I no longer have any movie before watching it. Expected that before.

I gave up what I should have for a movie, I gave up what I should expect from a movie. Of course, I didn't do it on my own initiative. On the contrary, I am very passive; because requirements are always unfulfilled in the end, and expectations are always disappointed in the end. Over time, in order to protect my own young heart and hope for a better life, I can only do this. Or, anyone, when he watches two or three movies a day for two or three years, will he be like me. No more demands, no more expectations; in this way, you will never feel hurt or disappointed.
This is my fall, or the fall of the movie.

This movie got me thinking a lot, but that doesn't mean this four-short film is a good one. First and foremost as a horror film, it doesn't do anything at its most basic - scary. At least, it didn't scare me; the whole, as well as the parts.
Ugly looking. The home mirror is poor. All of these innate things can determine how much. First, it determines the environment in which a person grows up; then, the environment determines the character; after that, the character in turn affects the environment that the person faces. This is a cycle similar to samsara, how to break this seemingly never-breaking samsara; perhaps, it lies in the will of this person. Will determines quality, quality affects character, and then begins to affect the environment.

Why the children in families with similar backgrounds are very different, because of the difference of personal will, I think. However, this short film shattered my expectations of personal will. Environment is everything? Such a pessimistic tone actually runs through all the clips in this short film.
A group of children from wealthy families formed a relatively fixed group, active in the school. Impossible, because the fathers are wealthy and powerful; cynicism, which seems to be a fixed pattern of life for the children of the wealthy. So, they all lived like this - the little bullies smoked marijuana, gambled money, and bullied the poor and honest children.

The little boy who was tortured to death is back after dying. There is no right and wrong, no reason, and the desire for revenge burns so incessantly. I don't know if there really is a kind of head down that would allow the living to die one after the other, and before dying to see the person who was tortured to death by himself come back with a horrible look and a pathetic curse.
I'm not qualified to comment because I don't understand it. I just want to take it for granted, whether head down and ghost revenge can be so easily linked together.

The significance of this short film may be that it can have some kind of intimidating effect on some bullies who do bad things at school; They will also find their way of revenge after death.
I doubt that such a meaning exists. In other words, I doubt that after this meaning exists, it has any meaning in itself. When the resentful witch returns after his death, when he returns to this world with a mad desire for revenge, the final occurrence of all kinds of bloody hatred may be beyond doubt. However, the depiction of blood in this short film is actually not real enough. Compared with the maddeningly real blood in the "Evil Down" series, the blood in this short film is more like using tomato pulp with props 's house wine.
It's not that I don't like this short film; it's that I can't like hi. Head-dropping is actually just a gimmick; and horror movies are not scary enough, which is obviously very scary. For a moviegoer attracted by the gimmick, the blood is not enough, and the beauty is weak. Hehe, the horror films in Thailand may have to end their curtains in their former glory.
