Alvy Singer might be one of New York's best comedians but his insecurities and obsession with death prevent him from holding down a relationship. After his best friend introduces him to the bright and dizzy nightclub singer Annie Hall, he finally falls in love, but alas, it can't last. Annie moves to LA and Alvy is left to contemplate where and why it all went wrong.
