First of all, I admit that I don't know much about JA
limited to three films: BecomingJane, Pride&Prejudice, Sense&Sensibility,
so in this film I mostly don't know what they discuss.
More importantly, I usually only remember JamesMcAvoy
and not TomLefroy.. .
so the more they do not know what to say
to know that more people should be able to have more fun

but since they do not know what to say
will not be able to put their real life story into consideration and
so he had to look at the story of

which is The stories of several people are interspersed with the
protagonist Maria Bello (WorldTradeCentre), an
old woman who spends
all day with dogs,
and her friends also privately joke that MB is single because of
dogs (Girls and dogs? You got it)

Amy Brenneman for many years to break up with her husband
and a third party a fresh start
AB very sad but also accepted the
MB decided to give her a look and then get hold of boyfriend
just HughDancy (BlackHawkDown, KingArthur, EllaEnchanted, BasicInstinct2) hit the door
he took a fancy MB
excuse to join The book club approached her.
MB first tentatively asked her if she was interested in the old woman.
He thought it was referring to the MB and
said no problem.
MB was happy to match HD and AB together.

But the discerning person
can see who HD likes at first glance and can also see that AB has a good impression on him.
Sure enough, after MB watched AB and HD talking, it was unhappy
(this woman is so annoying, she started to pretend to be the host, and finally she I couldn't stand it, I couldn't bear to say it)
But fortunately, AB's husband came back
(Actually, AB didn't want to develop with HD at all, and HD also did the same) and
also used the membership of the book club to restore the relationship with AB,
which was also reserved for MB.
She took the chance and she started reading sci-fi
that she liked, proving her acceptance

and a woman Emily Blunt (The Devil Wears Prada) at
first her husband said she would go to Paris with her
and then changed her mind because she wanted to watch the NBA playoffs.
EB was very sad
(actually A large part of the reason is that a French teacher has never been to France because of her vanity)
and their marriage has reached a very numb level.
Her husband usually doesn't accompany her and
likes to play live at home by herself.
Later, she got into a relationship with a student the
but the last time to see the "walk" on the traffic light turned into "the What Would jane do" ...
(Chedan it)
think that the woman did not marry a lifetime extraordinary
anyhow, I have married after
no longer derailed ...
I went back to her husband
and then took a cold after about two couples mend relations novels to see her husband
and then she and her husband somehow reconciled
joined the book Club
(fast I did not react)

also there are some vignettes
For example, AB's daughter joined with her gay girlfriend.
Another example is a member who showed up with her seventh husband
. Everyone decided to pull this

one into the group and finally found that everyone's other half joined the group. I
don't know if this is the case. The director deliberately arranged it,
but I think it's a bit far-fetched,
and I can see it
. Not one of the men who joined is a serious
HD who likes to watch science fiction.
If it wasn't for MB,
he probably wouldn't touch other people...

So this movie should be suitable for women too.

The Jane Austen Book Club quotes

  • Sylvia Avila: Look, I adore Jocelyn, but . . . ah ha, if, "Loving is letting go," then whoever wants Jocelyn is going to have to pry her fingers loose, one by one.

  • Editor: Dear Ms. Corrine Mahern, we regret that we must decline to publish the three short stories you sent to us. 'Benny's Basketball' is strong narratively, but the depiction of your penis-waving retarded boy felt a little unkind. And isn't the title 'Separating Eggs For Flan' a bit obvious as a metaphor for your parents' divorce? Yet we confess that 'Skydiver' puzzled us most. Why would a beautiful, self-centered young lesbian jump out of a plane?
