When I saw the male protagonist take off his wedding ring to call his lover, I thought badly about him. I thought maybe he was busy with business at other times and didn't take care of it, and then I remembered to take off the ring to express his boredom to his wife.
Later, when he explained to his wife under the coercion of becoming too crazy, he realized that he was trying to alleviate his guilt.
What can be said? Contradictions run rampant.
