Maybe the director was too libral and portrayed Nixon like this. And no respect for the facts. The victory of the Vietnam War ended in a decent manner, which was the mainstream public opinion in the United States at that time, otherwise Nixon would not have been re-elected with an overwhelming victory. The plot of Nixon being bs by several kids under Lincoln portrait is also hilarious. Nixon's life is a life of tenacious struggle. Even after Watergate stepped down, he continued to write books and left behind a great book. The director did not have any respect for him and history to make such films
