Internet addiction kills people~

Someone in the horror movie group recommended this movie, and if you can't find the Japanese version, you can find the American version. In my opinion, two lines are more important, the

first is from Siegler: "They ("ghosts") will take away your desire to live, and everything will be meaningless to you. You don't want to talk, you don't want to move, you're left with a husk. Then your body starts to bruise, and by this time they've spread all over your body. Your body starts to die from the inside, and then you're going to be A pile of ashes."

Isn't this very similar to the symptoms of people with Internet addiction? I've played online games, and I can feel this feeling: I don't want to eat, move, or talk, my attention is sucked away by the online game characters, it's like I've given my soul to it, and I'm just manipulating it in front of the computer of a body.

The second paragraph is what the heroine said at the end of the film:
"We will never go back, the city has become theirs, and our lives will change from now on. The communication between human beings will become closer, instead of relying on us as before. The unimaginable power comes to communicate."

Finally, the hero and heroine drove away from the desolate and dilapidated city, and came to the suburbs without electronic signals. Looking back, the sky was dark and the world was crumbling, just like a doomsday scene. It seems that in order to survive, human beings must change their way of life.

After checking the information, this film was originally prepared for teenagers, presumably to warn these internet addict teenagers to cherish life and care for their families~ Haha!
First of all, the images of these "ghosts" are images formed by electronic signals. Sometimes the signals are unstable, and their appearances will sway and blur. That is to say, the "ghost" comes from the telecommunication network.

Secondly, the heroine in the film asks: what do they want? Her dying friend says: They want what they don't have - life! Because, the network can't operate by itself, someone needs to participate in the operation, just like the survival of an online game character, someone needs to operate it in front of the computer~ Therefore, the "ghost" needs to live the life of a human to make it run, and the person who is deeply trapped in the network People, the "life force" is sucked away, and this person has no sense of being alive. Even if he doesn't commit suicide, he will eventually turn to ashes. Maybe suicide can be the last thing to feel about what it's like to be alive.

Again, in the film, there is only one thing that can block this ghost signal: household red tape. This design is also very interesting. Tape, a metaphor for a close connection, here should be the connection between people (for example, to describe a good relationship between two people, say they are like glue, haha, the same in English, glue to sb. It means that you two are inseparable ), and household tape again, that is to say, only the close relationship between people in the family can cure the deep loneliness of Internet dependence.
I don’t know if my interpretation will be piercing, hoho~ I think I can justify it. Anyway, the movie wants to say one sentence: Internet addiction kills people~
