I don’t know what age the target audience of this movie should be. Let’s show it to adults. The plot and scenes can only be said to be so-so, not as serious as blockbuster movies. The ending can be imagined by children; if it is for children, the picture is too violent. However, I personally feel that the film still has highlights. The first half of the film can be viewed as a relaxing comedy, and the character set is also good. The character of a typical heroic big guy is designed as a child's character, which looks really unique. I was looking forward to Guillermo del Toro's fame, but after watching it I felt very ordinary. It's unimpressive. In addition to the appearance, the easy-to-make image of Hellboy doesn't have many surprising highlights. Instead, it is the clichéd plot, various illogical settings, and powerless action scenes and adventure scenes that completely lower the level of the entire film. two and a half stars
