I'm glad I didn't read the original book, it's a rare high time

Every time a new HP movie is released, I watch and scold in the movie theater, and go back and ramble about all the details that were missed and adapted. Narnia's original books were on the last row of the school library shelf, and my roommates moved them back to read them, so I gave up. In the end, I'm very glad that I didn't read the original book this time, because I still know that the main plot of the original book has been chopped up. If you read it, I am afraid that today's "recommendation" will have to be changed to "okay" or even "poor"...
Well, let's just talk about the movie, and don't be affected by the original book . Let’s talk about the plot that fans have the most opinions about first. In all fairness, the quality of this book itself is not bad. Of course, this is also thanks to the original work. Except that it feels a little awkward in some places (such as Peter and people fighting inexplicably at the beginning, I don't know what to express), there is basically nothing too unreasonable. What I am puzzled is that the very important nautical plot in the original book did not appear from the beginning to the end, which made me think that the script completely abandoned the original book. Now I'm going to look for a book to read, maybe I'll be angry again after reading it. . .
What I am more dissatisfied with is the costume styling and special effects, not the ugly and rough problems, but the obvious imitation that is simply undisguised. The four brothers and sisters' school uniforms in the UK are too heavy, especially the scarf, so what if you say you are a British character, do you have to set the color to be the same? Centaurs may be creatures in Western legends, not the original creation of a certain writer, so the similarity is understandable. However, the angry scene in the woods is too much like The Lord of the Rings. Why even the armor looks like Tristan and Isolde in the Middle Ages? The fight scenes are still pretty good, and for two minutes I wondered if I was watching The Lord of the Rings, but...isn't Narnia for children? Why go the epic route after the commercialization trend, such dark tones are not suitable for the Narnia series, not even the story of the battle for the throne.
Finally, the main reason for my strong recommendation is coming out: the 3 young actors are pretty boys! Yeah! Prince Caspian is like a new generation of Jude Law, I have to quickly find out what his name is~ The blond Peter will definitely be a heartthrob in two years, but it's hard to say whether the blond beauty can become popular... The first part is still small The kid's Edmund is the most amazing this time, an absolute potential star, but I'm afraid he won't have the chance to play Narnia again, otherwise we will have the opportunity to witness the change of another child star like witnessing the growth of everyone in HP. Let's see what he will play in the future~ This kid has a future~

The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian quotes

  • Susan Pevensie: [referring to Peter] I wish he'd just listened to the D.L.F. in the first place!

    Edmund Pevensie: D.L.F.?

    Lucy Pevensie: Dear Little Friend.

Trumpkin: Oh... that's not at all patronizing, is it?

  • Lucy Pevensie: [holding up one of her old dresses] I was so tall.

Susan Pevensie: Well, you were older then.

Edmund Pevensie: As opposed to hundreds of years later, when you're younger.
