This film is John. Hughes and Molly. Lin Ward once again collaborated on a middle school student comedy after "Girls Fifteen and Sixteen", depicting five male and female students with rebellious personalities who were sent to school during the holidays to review their homework. The five people have different family backgrounds and personalities, but after they talked sincerely, they gradually let go of each other's wariness and hostility, and became like-minded friends. The whole film has a very in-depth and delicate description of the mentality of young people. The technique is relaxed, humorous and inspiring. It is easy to resonate with young audiences. A group of rookie actors also have appropriate performances.

There is a movie called Coming-of-age movie. This movie is a classic of its kind.

The first half was too dull, so I was stunned when I saw the heart-to-heart clip at the back, but I couldn't let it go. Except for Shi Xiaolong (...), Molly Ringwald looks like Ellen Page (the other way around).

The Breakfast Club quotes

  • Bender: Remember how you said your parents use you to get back at each other?

    Claire Standish: [nods]

Bender: Wouldn't I be OUTSTANDING in that capacity?

  • Andrew: We're all pretty bizarre. Some of us are just better at hiding it, that's all.
