The suspense plot of the entire movie is always fascinating, and whenever you believe in the plot at this moment, the next section will be overthrown immediately.

It’s worth noting that when the female protagonist and the male second stealing protective clothing were discovered, and the male second took the blame and said that he wanted to steal the weapon, Howard finished "I accept your apology" and then killed the male second. His characterization has reached its extreme, and there is no room for betrayal. In comparison, it is indeed more tolerant to the heroine. I think this has other meanings: he regards himself as a benevolent father.
It is probably true that his wife took his daughter away (the second male can also corroborate it). He loved his daughter but regretted that he could not keep the child with him, so he constructed a "father and daughter" scene with "Morgan" and the hostess. In his eyes, the heroine is a "little girl" and not a "woman", and this can be confirmed. When the heroine shows "resistance and betrayal", it naturally does not contradict Howard’s desire to control, nor does it conform to the role of a daughter. Howard’s violence appears. It is not difficult to imagine that "Morgan" may behave differently. The daughter was dealt with in the same way that Howard dealt with the second man.
I personally feel that the film’s handling of this line is logically consistent, and Howard’s characters are very three-dimensional and vivid... it is frightening.
The second point is Michelle, the heroine who walks up. Michelle initially showed an avoidance attitude of quarreling and leaving. The younger sister hiding under the wings of her elder brother did not dare to help bystanders of the little girl controlled by her father. However, she remained suspicious, full of fighting spirit, step by step bravely walked out of the magic cave and finally became the one who protected others. I have to say that Michelle is really able to adapt to the high-pressure environment and is the protagonist who gets more and more frustrated.
The audience followed the perspective of the heroine, and woke up, the strange man who was hit by his car was locked in the basement and said that I was doing the end of the world for your good. Whoever believes is silly! Even seeing two corroded pigs does not increase the credibility. The female protagonist remained skeptical and waited for an opportunity to escape. However, when the female protagonist took the key and hit the male protagonist to open the first door, she saw a face. The corrupted mad woman knocked on the door and said that when she let her into the house, the hostess was scared. She believed in the doomsday and Howard. In fact, under this situation, it is difficult for Michel to maintain a clear understanding of his own situation. The appearance of a mad woman seems to have stamped the words of Howard, but it may also be a play made by Howard. In short, at this time Michelle was in a state of shock and fear. But after discovering "Morgan"'s distress signal and relics, he quickly sorted out his thoughts and made plans, and has since been steadfastly planning. The heroine escaped with her bravery, strength and forbearance (of course, we have to thank the second man for help).
The third point is the end of the reversal. From the apocalyptic (false) of Howard's one-sided words at the beginning, to the corrupted pig (half real), to the mad woman (true). In the end, the heroine crawled out of the cellar and found that there were birds outside. She took off her mask to breathe and there was no problem with the air. The end was false at the moment, but at the next moment, the monster flying in the sky proved to be true. But if you don't combine "Clover's Paradox" and "Clover's Archives" to understand together, this doomsday and the monster will have no beginning and end but just a setting.
In general, 10 Clover Road is a movie worth watching. Depression and tension accompany the whole viewing process.
