The city of scorched earth in the coat of "Oedipus"

Isn't this the modern trumpet version of the tragic Oedipus King of "Oedipus"? I'm really a little disappointed, I always look so incongruous and comfortable when I change clothes.

The cruel and solemn background, the content of love—letting all sin not be sin—all lead to the birth of "love".

The cause of love is toward the fruit of love, and the destiny of distance is all because of love.

The director of this Oedipus-esque disguise is very clever - cunning.

The whole film makes it neither a tragedy nor a comedy, nor a satirical tragicomedy, although the mother's wishes at the end have been fulfilled.

The inability to explain the mother's motives for doing this makes the final theme expression of the whole movie seem absurd. The whole process of searching is actually a process of continuously digging out hatred. Where is the so-called love? There was almost no explanation to the mother's first lover. The film chased the peculiarities of the plot too much, but it greatly weakened the intensity of criticism. The mother was nothing more than passing on the hatred in her heart to the twins.

"My loves, where does your story begin? At your birth? Is so, it begins in horror. At the birth of your father? Then it begins in a great love story."

  • Notary Jean Lebel: Will of Mrs. Nawal Marwan... To Notary Jean Lebel: Bury me with no casket, no prayers, naked, face down, away from the world. Stone and epitaph. I want no gravestone, nor my name engraved anywhere. No epitaph for those who don't keep their promises. To Jeanne and Simon: Childhood is a knife stuck in your throat. It can't be easily removed. Jeanne, Mr Lebel will give you an envelope. The envelope is for your father. Find him, and give it to him. Simon, the notary will give you an envelope... The envelope is for your brother. Find him, and give him the envelope. When the envelopes have been delivered you will be given a letter. The silence will be broken, a promise kept, and you can place a stone on my grave and on it engrave my name in the sun.
