Bad movie + cool movie.
Since the new Suicide Squad invited the rolling guide, I was looking forward to it cautiously. The two Guardians of the Galaxy films that the Roll Guide exported next door are good. Although I can't say I like it very much, the two silver guards have at least portrayed the characters' characters well, the single story has been told through, and the story positioning and foreshadowing in the MCU are also well done. But Warners has always liked to meddle in and ruin works, and the DCEU is an example.
As a result, this time Warner let the guide let go.
Roll guide this to let go of the R level, it can be seen that he is really letting himself go. When it was bloody, he lost a drop of blood. The scene of Harry's escape from prison is very beautiful. The hand-to-hand combat between the flag team and the PM is also punch to the flesh, and that reflective action scene is wonderful.
However, the new Suicide Squad is really undisguised for me. First of all, the characterization is ridiculously bad. None of the characters have a complete character curve. Bloody Sports and Ratcatcher are two characters with a little bit of characterization, and the others are almost all fragmented characters. Character growth arc? I can't see any of them, I hope you can tell me what I see.
Second, the movie pulls the crotch in the third act, when it needs to be hardened the most. It made sense until the big star went wild, and then the rhythm was wrong. Several villains joined suicide squads for their own lives, and now risk headshots to save others. After a Harley stabs and kills Pai Daxing, they choose to save their lives. What about the logic of before and after behavior? Are they heroes who give up their lives or are they villains who only want to be good? The movie didn't give an answer, maybe want to say, both? But looking at it this way, it doesn't feel like it.
I won't say too much about some details. In that rainforest "sneak", the guards' responses were probably low-difficulty Assassin's Creed AI. And Amanda was knocked unconscious by her subordinates, and she didn't know what to say. . .
After watching this movie, it feels good but not good. Personally give it a passing score of 6. As a B-level cult film, it's good to watch.
As for the final saying that you can't like DC as much as you like Marvel, there's no need to make it so clear. I like watching Marvel, but it doesn't mean that I think every MCU is a good movie. On the contrary, there are actually a lot of bad MCU movies. DC has many other works, DCEU, Nolan's Batman trilogy, V for Vendetta, and more. As long as you are willing to see it, don't choose any camp, you will always find what you like.
PS, although I like the directing and cutting of the straight couple, it is regarded as Zaslin in some people . But I hate the idea of giving New Suicides and other DC movies a low score because you don't have the guts to do it. The director is also a very talented director, but his performance this time is not up to my standard.
