This cause is another effect, the other cause is this effect

This movie has one of the most subtle ideas. And the most subtle idea of this idea is: to provide us with the opportunity to go back again and again.
No one will be completely satisfied with their life. Therefore, the most basic setting of this movie, the imaginary about repeating it once or even multiple times, will bring us many false fantasies and endless desires. If possible, I will not make such mistakes, maybe my life will be better. Under this assumption, we can face an alternative life like Evan, the male protagonist, and if this is true, what will happen to everything. This fictional delusion can only stay in fantasy, or stay in the movie. And what this movie will tell us is, in fact, even if there is such an opportunity, everything may not be as beautiful as we thought.
The plot setting of this movie is locked in the present, and what can be changed is certain gathering points that are important to life in the past. The way to change is through the lost memories of those points in Evan’s memory; reading the diaries that he wrote in his childhood, and then looking back to recollect, forming the memories of those points in the way he wants, Later memories will be completely rebuilt because of the change at this point. The development process from the assembly point to the present is omitted, and jump directly from that point back to the present. So what we see in the movie is just like what the Buddha said of cause and effect, but the cause and effect that the Buddha must go through reincarnation for several lifetimes all happened in Evan's life.
Assuming that the development process of a person's life is a coherent straight line, one cause is another effect, interlocking. The conclusion is our current life.
But if we change what has happened at a certain point before, then the life changed because of this point will change many points behind because of the chain reaction, and the more changed points will be rewritten. It will be a whole life. As a result, the whole life will become completely different.
This is also the basis of chaos theory in this movie. The chained butterfly effect and reality and the past are constantly jumping into reincarnation. The interlocking and irreversible journey begins in this movie.
There are infinite possibilities in movies. However, to map all these possibilities to reality and life, the film still has to follow the laws of reality development to develop the plot, so as to make the countless possibilities of the film's plot convincing.
What the movie has skipped is the long course of development after all those possibilities have been changed. So what we can see is the most direct result after Evan changed that kind of possibility.
There is a causal cycle, this cause is another effect, and the other cause is this effect.
Faced with a life with unlimited possibilities, how to choose? The life after that and the life that has become history before. With infinitely beautiful wishes to revise your life and all the people around you will also become a better life. All our mistakes will be corrected, but is this result better or not so good?

    Kayleigh Miller: Know what?

Kayleigh Miller: You know there's one major hole in your story, there is no fucking way on this planet, nor any other I would ever be in some fucking sorority.

Evan: [Whispering] You were happy there...
