Consciousness and situation interspersed, Kitano Takeshi's dream within a dream

Movies are in motion, and shots are always in progress. But as for the past, present or future tense, no one will tell you, and no one will tell you whether there are conditional sentences and subjunctive moods. This is an ambitious film, and in a well-designed dream-in-dream/drama-in-a-drama structure, the director plays montage with tricks.

This is also an unadorned expression made by the director to the audience. Because of the sincerity and excitement, it is full of unintelligible ravings. It is not like "Fireworks" and "Summer of Kikujiro", which are shown to everyone in a well-mannered manner. Instead, he wears a shorts and a vest and runs to a puddle, steps on a concrete pit and rolls around to make him turn upside down.

When you become a person with a head and face, you have to abide by your rules and be a people's artist honestly? impossible. If he didn't act like a demon, he wouldn't be the Kitano Takeshi that everyone sees now.

Since both protagonists are Takeshi Kitano, let's call one the director and the other the clown. Both are Takeshi Kitano. The Joker is (in the director's fantasy) Takeshi Kitano who has suffered and suffered in the past, and the director is Takeshi Kitano, a great director who is now famous and rich. The Joker kills the director after a series of events. Takeshi Kitano dreamed that he killed himself.

My personal interpretation is that what really happened in the movie is that the director went back to the TV station and found an artist who looked a lot like him, so he remembered the self who had not made a fortune in the past, and felt that he had changed a lot for a while, that's all That's it. After that, Director Kitano Takeshi's natural artist's divergent thinking divides the self into a past self and a present self.

This kind of division can also be seen in "Fireworks", but it is portrayed as two different characters. One of the two policemen became a painter through self-rescue, and the other became a gangster through self-destruction. These two sides are shown in a more intuitive way in "Double-Faced Kitano Takeshi" - both sides are me. On the one hand, he is a complete rebel, and on the other, Qu Zequan is a time-conscious person. One side is ideal, the other side is reality.

The film starts with the shootout of "Searing" and echoes the ending of the "Scorching" shootout. If you feel confused after watching the whole film, at least in the last shot you will suddenly realize:

Living repressed in derogatory voices and humiliating gazes, anyone would want to chug the whole world in one stroke.

"Fuck me! Fuck! I'm fucking your uncle!"
