touching affection

This movie is really moving. At the beginning of the movie, the three sons played with their families. When the tsunami hit, the family was scattered. The mother shouted for her son in the tsunami. She endured the pain and matched her son. After being rescued, she was saved. Let go of a lesson. And the son has been the little adult, taking care of the mother. What touched me the most was that in the middle, brother Holland saw his two younger brothers in the hospital and called his younger brothers to see them. Dad never gave up. The family of five met at the door of the operating room and waited for his mother to come out. Really moving!

After watching it, I told someone who was sorely crying that this movie was just five episodes of GA combined to abuse people. The small number of high-quality disaster scenes in the front are very worrying, and the family drama in the back stretches for a long time, crying a lot [Call that Duan Cry is blind (┳_┳)... 】. Naomi Watts looks so miserable and still shows up, the awards season should be nominated...

The Impossible quotes

  • Henry Bennett: Did you set the alarm before we left?

Maria Bennett: Yeah, it was the last thing I did.

Henry Bennett: No, I was the last one to leave. I was the last one to leave, and I'm sure I didn't set it.

Maria Bennett: No darling, I was the last one out, and I did. I promise.

    Henry Bennett: You sure?

    Maria Bennett: Yup.

    Henry Bennett: K.

Henry Bennett: [after a long pause] No, no, I was the last one, 'cause I went back in, and that means the alarm is not set, 'cause I didn't set it.

Maria Bennett: Well, um, I guess that means we'll be coming home to a large bunch of hippies sleeping in our bed.

Henry Bennett: What, just like your old college days?

  • Lucas Bennett: [Trembling and distraught, after he and Maria have managed to take refuge on a tree in the rushing wave] I thought I was a brave kid, Mum...! I'm scared!

    [sobbing]

Maria Bennett: [Equally shaken, moves closer to embrace Lucas] Shhh...!

    [whispers into his ear]

    Maria Bennett: I'm scared, too...!

Lucas Bennett: [Anxious] Is it over...?

    [Maria is looking around]

    Lucas Bennett: Is it over...?

Maria Bennett: [Looks around nervously as the wave recedes] I don't know...! I don't know...!
