The Swedish version of "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" (the usual typo is "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo") has currently seen two versions, one is a single-film version with a length of 2 hours, 32 minutes and 17 seconds, and the other is a double-film version. The first and second episodes are 1 hour and 33 minutes respectively, and each episode has a beginning and ending, which are made into separate films. The second should be the extended version that everyone said. (Additional: Each of the Millennium Trilogy is an upper and lower part, which means a total of 6 movies, which can also be regarded as a 6-episode Swedish drama)
After comparison, it is found that the content of the short version has been simplified a lot, some of which are on the plot, and some on the details.
1. In the short version, the scenes of the later Millennium Magazine were deleted, including the cooperation with the big boss Henrik and the internal discovery of ghosts;
2. In the short version, some of the female protagonists in the American version, Da Lengtian, are waiting for the male protagonist to get off work after reinstatement, and as a result, the male protagonist and the female partner of the magazine are in love with each other, and he leaves sadly;
3. Several details have been deleted in the incident investigation, most of which can be deleted and have little impact on the main line;
4. There is an entire episode of looking for a priest deleted, but it has little impact on the main line;
5. By the way, there is indeed a small section of passion that has nothing to do with the main line and has been deleted.
All in all, the full version is worth watching.
