After watching the first season in one go, I saw that low score when I was about to cache the second season... The reason for this impulse is naturally that the ending of s1 was so wonderful. The quick flashback of the mother's life experience multi-dimensionalized the shaping of the villain. Emma and Lei's strategic approach to compromise has also made the comics break away from the rut of zealous blood and childishness.
Maybe s2 is still moving towards the protagonist who is blindly benevolent, and the mother becomes a childish trend such as enduring humiliation and burdening. Go through it quickly another day.
