Let’s meet a Let's fall in love with a star! She's from far away from outer space and she's watching us all the time - oh please don't ask me something like "We're human because we look at the stars? Or are we able to look at them because we're human" ?" Such a question, that's what philosophers do, and the Royal Academy of Sciences in London considers it a pointless question. Yes, philosophers always ask meaningless questions.

But in many cases, the meaning does not lie in the problem itself, but in the person who thinks about it, just as what love is does not lie in love itself, but in everyone who falls in love. What do you think about love? You meet a beautiful woman, you think you like her, you think you can find her a diamond bigger than her foot, gold heavier than her, or... the head of a polar bear— - Is this what you like? If not, what should you do?

I want to remind you that no matter what you do, never make a wish to her that you can find the star that just fell to earth for her - because in the end you will fall in love with that unfortunate star, yes, fall in love with her.

But unfortunately, no one told Tristan the legend that he made this wish to a girl. As a result, he ended up falling in love with a star. Is there anything worse than this? Rarely, perhaps only, is that Tristan is not me!

There are no stars in this city. I raised my head hard and looked out the window. There was only the black sky and the empty space between the sky and my eyes. There was a layer of dust between me and them, and I couldn't see them.

But Tristan can see that in the small village called "wall" where he lives, Tristan can clearly see the stars in the sky, feel their soft light shining, and even Hear their soft voices.

We human beings have been staring at the sky, trying to explore the mysteries of the starry sky and the universe, but we have never thought of falling in love with a star. For thousands of years, no one has thought about it like this. Isn't it very sad to think about it?

Frankly speaking, the magical events that Tristan experienced are insignificant compared to Harry Potter and The Hobbit. Those ugly witches and jealous, cunning, vicious princes are nothing compared to the villains in any fantasy movie. Those magic powers that turn people into animals, Hogwarts second-year students will know; the romance of standing on the bow has already happened on the Titanic. However, only love triumphed over other magical films and became the most unique mark of this film.

Some commented that "Stardust" (aka "The Legend of Stardust") was a "sci-fi masterpiece with more content than form", which is true. We've seen too many movies in the form of magic, so it's time to be more subtle. Hear a story from a man from Earth and fall in love with a star?

Falling in love with the stars is really a very tempting thing. They are pure, soft and like fairies who don't eat fireworks, but they are more bright and warm than them.

Probably every man has a desire to meet a woman who is not polluted by the world, just like every woman hopes to meet a prince who rides a white horse but is not a Tang monk. However, men are always luckier than women. In the world of women, they always meet the seven dwarfs, frogs, and Quasimodo, but in the world of men, he can meet Elf, met Angles A, met a star.

Of course, imagination is not guilty. If even Luc Besson can hope that there is a beautiful and pure Angel A by his side, we only expect a star, why not?

So, let go of your imagination, go fall in love with the stars, hold her hands tightly, hug her, stroke her long hair, listen to her softly tell interstellar stories, and then gently kiss her.

Finally, I need to remind you that if you are really imagining you are saying "I love you" to a star, then please imagine that star as your girlfriend or wife by the way - otherwise what? Would you like to see a witch appear under the night sky, in the blue night, in the warm wind, and on the soft grass to destroy the tranquility of your embrace?

Stardust quotes

  • [Tristan and Victoria are sipping champagne under the stars]

Victoria: Do you know, Humphrey's going all the way to Ipswich to buy me a ring.

Tristan: Ipswich? Victoria I'm talking about London or Paris or... A ring? Why is he... What kind of a ring?

Victoria: The word is he's planning to propose to me on my birthday.

Tristan: [crestfallen] He's going to... And you're gonna say yes?

Victoria: [laughs] Well I can't exactly say no after he's gone all the way to Ipswich.

Tristan: "All the way to Ipswich"? Victoria, for your hand in marriage, I'd cross oceans or continents.

    Victoria: Really?

    Tristan: Yes.

    [Victoria giggles]

Tristan: Victoria, for your hand in marriage, I would go to the gold fields of San Francisco and bring you back your weight in gold. I'd go to Africa and bring you back a diamond as big as your fist. Or I'd go to the Arctic and I'd slaughter a polar bear and bring you back its head.

[Victoria has been moving closer, about to kiss him, but suddenly she recoils]

Victoria: [disgusted] A polar bear's head? Ugh! You're funny, Tristan.

[they look up into the sky]

Victoria: Oh, Tristan! A shooting star. Beautiful.

Tristan: More beautiful than a fancy ring from Ipswich? Victoria, for your hand in marriage, I'd cross the wall and bring you back that fallen star.

Victoria: You can't cross the wall. Nobody crosses the wall. Now you're just being silly.

Tristan: I'm not being silly. I'd do it. For you, I'd do anything.

Victoria: [thinking] Hmmm. My very own star. It seems we have ourselves an agreement. You have exactly one week or I'm marrying Humphrey.

  • [Secundus has just been murdered and has become a ghost, joining his other dead brothers]

Secundus: [trying to laugh off his brothers' frosty stares] Oh, please, you're not annoyed at that whole murder thing, are you? I mean, that was ten years ago.

Quartus: Great deal of good it did you, killing me, Secundus. Because now, of course, you're King of all Stormhold. Oh sorry, wait, no you're not - you're dead!
