Leo went to a classmate's house on vacation and met his beautiful sister Marianne. For the sake of family honor and match, Marianne is destined to marry Viscount Hughes. Hughes has an ugly scar on his face. Marianne doesn't like him at all, but she must obey her mother's marriage arrangement. She and Farmer Med like each other, Leo becomes the messenger for their tryst, Leo likes Marianne, and he is willing to be the messenger to make her happy. The matter was finally revealed, Mad was shot and killed. Leo, who saw this scene, was traumatized and dared not love to waste his life. Fifty years later, Leo returned to the same place to meet Marian's grandson, who looked exactly like Mad, and also to meet Marian. Marianne told him that the grandson was ashamed of his own background and did not want to get married.
In the whole story, there are three people who are most affected, Maid died, Leo regretted wasting his life all his life, and his grandson did not want to get married. And the parties Marian and Hughes did not.
It is not the person involved who is traumatized, it is likely only the related bystanders. A strong heart is important. The truth of things may not be what the eyes see.
The last line is very good. Marianne said to the old Leo, hoping that he will persuade his grandson not to give up marriage. There is only one curse in the world, which is to lose the heart of love.
