The growth history of little people

This is my first time writing a film review, so it has a different meaning. First of all, this movie gave me a big surprise on the actors. The actor who played the hero David Copperfield when he was a child was a well-known egg girl (surely he was the most generous when he was a child), and he played the role of a big girl. Bockfield's aunt is also Maggie, the head of Gryffindor. Harry Potter's popularity has given me an understanding of these actors, and I also have expectations for this movie.

The actors of the movie can be said to be very well chosen. You can see at a glance who is the noble, self-respecting, honest character and who is the contemptible, sad, hypocritical character, but it also makes this The film's facialization is too serious. In fact, Dion's too flattening of characters is also his criticism.

The plot is very moving. Just like the old saying, "Writing looks like a mountain does not like peace", Dion's novels are basically irreproachable in terms of storytelling. David encountered setbacks in childhood and youth, and his life could not be smooth sailing. The people and things he experienced will be David's growth. The growth history of a small person is always the most moving. The supporting roles also give people a different feeling. This story has created one classic character after another, such as Mr. Micawber, Aunt Bessie... In general, both the plot and the characters are worth watching.

David Copperfield quotes

  • Murdstone: David, if I have an obstenent dog or horse to deal with, what do you think I do? I beat him. I make him wince and smart. I say to myself, "I'll conquer that fellow, and even if it costs him every drop of blood he has, I'll do it."

    [Grasps David firmly]

Murdstone: Do we understand each other?

    [David nods]

    Murdstone: Good.

    [Strokes David's head]

Murdstone: Now wash your face and come downstairs directly.

  • Miss Murdstone: Generally speaking, I don't like boys.
