Because compared to Lao Wen's other films, this one is really, really, really not scary.
After all, I have known the director Wen Ziren since The Conjuring 2. I was so frightened at the time that I felt a little ticklish.
But the overall style is still very old and warm, and it feels more like the original style, so it's not so scary yet.
I still really like his coordination and control of the camera and music. It's really, really good, it's really scary, not loud.
