I didn't expect this documentary to move me the most in the Easter egg (I really cried when I saw it and translated him on a whim
James Cameron(for Titanic):"…so i was sitting there cutting one day, and, a disk came in, that said 'sketch', i said, 'oh, okay, for the sketching scene'."
James Cameron: "I was sitting there editing one day and I got a CD with 'Sketch' on it, and I thought, that was for sketching that scene."
"i just kinda slitter around, till i found the place where seem to sink with the theme i see."
"I moved the position back and forth until I felt it fit the scene.
"there's kinda, a piano down beat, that i just put on Leonardo's eyes looking directly, u know, at the camera."
"This has the accent of a piano, and I put it at the moment when Xiao Lizi faces the camera."
"that's critical moment of eye-contact between two of them when he's drawing her."
"That was the moment when their eyes met."
"oh buddy, that's really flowing."
"Ah, that's perfect."
"So i was so excited about it, and i call him up, i said 'this is working so well!', 'i put it up at the sketching scene, and it's working fantasticly'"
"I was so excited, and I called him and I said, 'This is great. I put it in the sketch scene, it was a perfect fit.'"
"He said 'oh no no no noooo, that's just a sketch, that's just a piano sketch of a melody we can drop it in anywhere.' I said, 'but it works beautifully on that scene.' He said' really?' I said, 'yeah, get you guys over here.'"
"He said, 'No, it's just a melody sketch on the piano, we can put him anywhere' and I said, 'But it's so beautiful to put in that scene' and he said, 'Really?', I Say, 'Sure, you guys hurry up.'"
PS Great coincidence! Great coincidence! Great coincidence!
"So he came over, he said, 'Wow, that works pretty well, okay', he said, 'alright, I'll work orchestra', I said, 'no no no, just the piano.'"
"He just came over. He said, 'Oh, that works really well, then I'll make an orchestral piece.' And I said, 'No no no, the piano will be fine.'"
"He said alright, 'I know the best pianist in the world, i know he's out there in London now.'"
"He said, 'Okay, I know the best pianist in the world, and he's in London.'"
"I said, 'no, that's u buddy, that's u.'"
"I said, 'No, it's you, it's you, you're the best pianist.'"
