The film unfolds the storyline from the perspectives of characters not limited to Tanya herself, and sometimes there are comical situations where the two sides have contradictory explanations, such as the exposition of the relationship between Tanya and her ex-husband Jeff Guiluli. Comparing people's narrations is like slapping each other in the face; on the other hand, at the beginning of the film, the main characters of the film-Tania, mother and ex-husband are brought out by means of pseudo-news interviews, and then the whole film is pseudo-documentary/pseudo-interview. The two expressive techniques of video and normal feature films are interspersed with each other, and the fourth wall is broken from time to time in the middle, forming a narrative alienation effect. This way of expression not only makes the characters three-dimensional, comprehensive and credible, but also exposes the characters' minor flaws; it also allows the whole film to avoid the various ideologies that accompany the prototype of the event, which is more conducive to boldly satirizing the "American Dream".
