I always find myself in Bob Ford

Jesse is a wolf galloping across the wasteland, his keen insight and neat deeds give him a unique style wherever he goes. The bright sunshine, the floating weeds, and even the delicious rice became his foil.

He didn't care about these, he just felt that the sun was dazzling, the vines and grasses got in the way, and the knives and forks were troublesome.

His world is like an iceberg that is torn apart and each has its own sharp edges and corners. He straddles the ice cubes, being able to switch from one emotion or state to another without stepping on both at the same time . So he had to keep walking, constantly straddling between the ice cubes. At the dinner table, he seemed to be chatting and laughing with Bob, standing on the soft ice cube, and the next moment Bob's abnormality pushed him back to the wider iceberg - sensitive and suspicious, he "had" to put a knife in his hand. On Bob's neck, the smile resumed the next second. He has lost his true self in this tragic transition, cautious, sensitive, decisive, sharp, even mad. But in a sense, he was also a victim of the cracks in his own iceberg. But this did not prevent people from being afraid of him, and they couldn't help trembling under his breath, and the moment they turned around, they felt a little pity for him.

And Bob, it seems, is a natural underdog. As the youngest of the five Ford brothers, he was almost never seen or noticed since he was a child. He's used to curling himself up in a corner, and all people can see is the story of the thief who hides his idol Jesse under the bed. Contrary to Jesse's angular, razor-sharp world, his world is more like a pot of soup, one that ignites itself to contain its own soup . His emotions can not be explicit, which had all melted, then cover the pot, waiting for its erosion, pretending nothing had happened ...... every time one came, he insisted to open the lid, pretend to drink Take a bite. What he didn't know was that no matter whether he was pretentious or not, he couldn't stop the contemptuous ridicule that the man showed after walking by. Whether he drank the soup or not, he would eventually merge with it and be buried in a corner. All the cold eyes and ridicule, the admiration and yearning for Jesse, he did not sort out these things, but mixed them all into the soup. Therefore, everything he does to the outside world is like bubbles floating in the soup. Not only does it have no effect, but it makes people feel childish and ridiculous.

The moment Bob stood behind Jesse and fired a cold shot, he kicked the pot as if he couldn't bear it and vented. He thought that this kick would overturn the soup of "cowardice", but he didn't expect that not only did he not overturn it, but he also kicked the pot. Sad soup spilled on others.

Just before Jesse died, he saw through the reflective surface Bob trembling with the gun pointed at him behind him. At this moment, Jesse is helpless, and Bob has somehow helped him mend some cracks in the iceberg, and now ruthlessly cuts them off again. Maybe he had guessed the ending, so he chose to accept it at the last minute, because allowing Bob to kill himself was his struggle against the cracks in the iceberg that controlled him.

This film review is more like an afterthought, mainly mixed with a lot of subjective colors of the author himself.

Top-notch photography with poetic narration. With the development of the second half of the plot, there is a sense of urgency that slowly rises.
