What makes us a Loki?

From a fan perspective, those 6 hours made me fall in love with this character all over again. From the point of view of the general audience, there are advantages and disadvantages, and it is still at the level of fan work, which needs to be polished.

Let’s talk about the advantages first. This time, Loki has maintained the big scenes and big productions of Marvel as always, but there are subtleties in the roughness, and a little more humanistic flavor. I really like the scene setup this time around. The new map of TVA is very interesting. On the one hand, it is like a space opera, such as the cosmic background behind Judge's office, and the light door used by hunters. As a future institution, the design is neat and concise. On the other hand, it is old and bloated. The scenes are like marble domes, statues, old The equipment, all kinds of retro, all kinds of trivial details, and people can see the complicated retro board of TVA. Generally speaking, as an institution that keeps watch time but has been free from the outside world, the historical atmosphere is enough. Coupled with the timekeepers are watching you, the strange Miss minutes animation, and the orange tone of traditional cyberpunk, there is a little punk flavor, which is very satisfying to my imagination.

I have to mention that the lokis setting is definitely the biggest attraction this time.

There are too many outlandish ideas. It's hard to imagine the production team saying, "We still have 1,000 settings that you can't think of." Not to mention the crocodile, I laughed at the one who took the bicycle wheel and didn't read the comics. It's nice that most Loki's are loki. Personally, I like Classic Loki the most. He is a loser. He is lonely but wants to struggle. The last sacrifice makes people feel worthy of him. I still like the fight scenes between Sylvie and Loki. They mentioned their fighting styles behind the scenes. Sylvie is like a wild cat, biting and scratching when fighting. Loki is different. It's like showing off.

Talk about Sylvie's settings. The casting is really good, it is the feeling of annoying blonde mid class white woman. I can understand her character, but it still makes me feel that it is not weird enough. Without that experience, it will be less nonsense and too bitter.

At this point, I will say why I think it is still a doujinshi. On the one hand, the production team is eager for success. They want to show their influence to the audience too much, but they don't consider the established image of the character. In a word, there is still an OOC point. So Loki said in the sixth episode: The cost of getting him down is too great. In just a few days, has he been able to think about the safety of the whole universe without hesitation? Of course, if the production team gave Loki time to think, it would be fine for him to come to this conclusion. A direct answer will make me think that Loki is not the anti hero we are familiar with, and it is a bit too majestic. It's here that I'm most embarrassed.

There are many surprises and many surprises. Thanks to the cast and the set of actors and directors who, little by little, brought new possibilities and portrayed new sides to this indescribable, charismatic character Loki. Losing his shirt from the beginning, Loki seemed to be forced to strip away his disguise, exposing his truest self and wounds to the air. It's still the god of mischief, all kinds of small details are too funny, up to the style of speaking, one ring after another, both true and false, I have been questioned by Mobius countless times for how much nonsense, to the expressions, I heard Mobius hints at Pompeii When you can't do it, you frown involuntarily, making people sigh, ah, it's him.

Since the theme is how Loki learns to accept himself and love himself, there will inevitably be a lot of dramas where the protagonist is forced to grow up and reflect, so we also see a very different Lokis, vulnerable, angry and sad.

My favorite of the 6 hours of watching the show was this dialogue:

Do you think that what makes a Loki a Loki is the fact that we're destined to lose?
No. We may lose. Sometimes painfully. But we don't die. We survive.

And what I like is the villain Loki who will always survive.

Loki quotes

  • [In a presidential suit]

Loki: Oh, come on! What did you expect?

  • Loki: You're taking me somewhere to kill me?

Mobius: No, I'm taking you some place to talk.

Loki: Well, I don't like to talk.

Mobius: But you do like to lie. Which you just did, 'cause we both know you love to talk.
