Critic Collection: Disney Marvel's "Rocky" Review
Personally, I am looking forward to the "Rocky" series, and I am also very surprised by the setting of "The Infinity Stones as a decoration" at the TVA front desk in the first episode, but perhaps the greater the hope, the greater the disappointment.
The first thing I felt after watching the first season of "Rocky" was that I wasn't strong enough. I always felt that it was almost something.
Yes, the ending egg indicates that there will be a second season.
I don't want to complain anymore about fighting dramas. During the process of watching the drama, I have been thinking about Loki's combat effectiveness in the series. If I catch a mutant from the "X-Men" series, can I kill him.
At present, Marvel has launched three TV series in the fourth stage of the MCU. I seriously doubt whether these are all plots calculated by the same big data algorithm. They all have the same opening and amazing opening and then go high and low. They are all the same. Infinite digging and all kinds of easter eggs are just as lacking in stamina, and none of the deep meanings that I tried to discuss before or the ideas that can go further are not tenable.
The behind-the-scenes control of "Wanda Vision" is "Agatha all along". The surprise character that fans are looking forward to is Vision himself. All the drama analysis at home and abroad suffer from Hexagon or Mephisto PTSD . Marvel did a good job of "rinsing" the fans.
At the end of "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier" came Mrs. Hydra, although not the most appealing among fans, but it was finally a new character.
At the end of "Rocky", too many people speculated that the final villain was Kang the Conqueror, but most of them were hurt too deeply by the Huanhong evaluation before and no longer dared to be absolutely sure.
Although the true identity of the time manipulator was not revealed in the final episode, fans know him as Kang the Conqueror, the upcoming big boss in the movie Ant-Man 3, played by Jonathan Majors.
There were mixed reviews for Jonathan Majors' performance in Loki, but I personally thought the character looked like he was drinking fake wine, not joking, but insane.
In light of this, it's no wonder that Marvel thinks WandaVision's misunderstanding is a good decision.
The final endings of these three mini-series are from "the new character that I didn't predict for you", to "give you a new character, but not the one you think", and now "the one you guessed".
Although Magic Red did not appear as the villain that people speculated, the finale was still good-looking, and the fighting between Scarlet Witch and Agatha made the audience even more entertained.
Wanda's review of her life experience, her gratitude to her children, and her farewell to Vision really made the audience immersed in it, and Aomei's performance was even more tear-jerking.
There are too many real loopholes in Hunting Winter, so I won’t talk about it. I want to talk about equal rights for blacks and social class differentiation. As a result, my steps are too big, and I haven’t explained everything clearly, and it seems extraordinarily abrupt and playing the card of “political correctness”. Opportunity.
And Loki is really eating the high popularity of the character itself.
Of course, "Rocky"'s strategic layout for Marvel itself was successful. Female Rocky Silvi stabbed the multiverse with a knife, which happened to lead to "Doctor Strange 2: Madness with the Multiverse", which was initially scheduled to be released next year. Conqueror Kang, who appeared in the finale, brought out Ant-Man 3: Quantum Mania, which will be released in 2023.
Since MCU works are all serving each other, the threshold for watching movies may become higher and higher. Because for a new audience who has just come into contact with Marvel, if they want to understand the whole story and experience the fun of finding easter eggs, there will be more and more works to make up.
Personally, I feel that the focus of these three Marvel film and television dramas is too much on burying Easter eggs, after all, this can lead to discussion and enthusiasm among fans; and the really important part is ignored, that is, the polishing of the script and the shaping of the characters.
The recently launched "Black Widow" shows a strong sense of fatigue. Although a female director joins the story of girls helping girls, the feeling of the whole movie from beginning to end is to give the characters an explanation and quickly finish the work.
When Marvel jumps out of the usual Marvel routines, maybe we will see more stunning, bold and in-depth works.
