Count as a record

I just finished watching "A Star Is Born Soundtrack" yesterday, and there is a sense of incongruity. This may come from the dwarfing of narrative, Gaga's acting and music comparison, or it may come from the deletion of the iQiyi version I watched. But overall, I love this film.

The love between Ally and Jakson is the encounter of two lonely individuals. Although they each have many friends, the excitement brought by friends can only be regarded as a glimmer compared to the joy of the soul after the two met.

who am I? Does the people around me love me because of the aura on my body or because I love me. Is the aura a part of me?

This movie gave me a vague answer that I am not sure of yet. I think who I am depends on my own feelings. I hope for the time being that I can take good care of my own diamonds. After having a halo, there will be many followers of the halo, but those who love me are more precious, and the halo is not part of me. So in my private time, I want to wear more simple clothes and not be fooled by the dazzling appearance.

Finally, the music is great and it keeps looping. I really like Gaga. When she removes her makeup and smiles, she looks so beautiful. I love her!

A Star Is Born quotes

  • Jack: Can I touch your nose?

    Ally: Oh, my gosh.

Jack: Let me just touch it for a second.

[He slides his finger down her nose]

    Jack: You're very lucky.

    Ally: Oh, really?

    Jack: M-hm.

Ally: Yeah, not really. My nose has not made me lucky.

  • Jack: Look, talent comes everywhere. Everybody's talented, fucking everyone in this bar is talented at one thing or another. But having something to say and a way to say it so that people listen to it, that's a whole other bag. And unless you get out and you try to do it, you'll never know. That's just the truth. And there's one reason we're supposed to be here is to say something so people want to hear. Don't you understand what I'm trying to tell you?

Ally: Yeah, I do. I don't like it, but I understand it.

Jack: Oh, I think you like it a little bit.
