Have you seen "Jumper"? no? Nevermind, watch the trailer first.

In the trailer, the handsome little guy Hayden instantly appears on the Sphinx with his famous Star Wars smile while basking in the sun and surfing in the ocean Disappearing, flying into a Mercedes convertible, instant this, instant that, finally saying "Take A Deep Breath" to his cute OC girlfriend and then instant that; and Samuel L. Jackson with white hair for some reason Catching this shuttler, and he actually has Niu B's tools; and when Hayden fell into the glacier when he was a child and shuttled to the library, it must be the beginning of everything.
finish watching? Well, congratulations, you've watched the entire movie in just two minutes and thirty seconds. Yes, that's all the movie, the rest of the plot you can just imagine. Yes, it is you, you who are looking at these words. Oh, and finally this white-haired Samuel L. Jackson has a slightly more awesome portable shuttle you probably didn't expect. But that's ok, maybe your idea is much stronger than these three bastard screenwriters combined. Oh, you think too much, this Jumper played by Hayden is a good kid, he didn't use his superpowers to go to the women's locker room or anything. When I went to Rome with my girlfriend to play, I didn't strip people's clothes.
"Jumper" was directed by Doug Liman, who directed the cool and classical (yes!) "The Bourne Identity" (2002), and "Mr. & Mrs. Smith", which was a no-brainer but at least a lot of gimmicks. (2005). Look, it's only 2008. The rapid decline of his directing quality in three-year abscissa units is truly astounding. I really don't know how bad it would be if he directed the movie again in 2011.
"Jumper" is translated as "shuttler", which is "space jumper". Although it is not as cool as "space-time jumper", it can at least make a good story; to take a step back, even if the story is average, there is no time travel The causal relationship is at work, at least the logic should not be too confusing. I remember the flashbacks and the main line of love in "The Butterfly Effect" that brought tears to my eyes. And this "Jumper" story is terrible, and the logic is extremely confusing. It is said that this film is originally an "anti-hero" movie, "anti" is true, but you must have intelligence, please.
Director Liman asked the handsome guy to start narrating the voice-over at the beginning, but this voice-over is just a straightforward description of the picture, without any technical content (look at people's "No Country for Old Men", at least the voice-over can make people not understand and let people return I've been thinking about it for a few days). The voice-over is usually the description of the event by the parties after the event, and this voice-over stops abruptly when the little handsome guy grows up, there is no middle, and the end does not appear again, which is really confusing. is it necessary? do not have it? Have it?
The expression on Hayden's handsome face can only be described as dull. We know Jumper is cool, and I want to jump too, shuttle to the bank to get some pockets, go to London to pick up a girl or something, but isn't human emotion a little more complicated than "cool"? Maybe it's no wonder Hayden, Liman's entire film is set in a mess. As a pawn, Hayden may not know what he wants to express in the film besides being "cool" after filming for so long. Rachel Bilson, the sexy girl in "The OC", is also a pawn, making no contribution except for her face and half body.
But at least the cost of $85M also gave some scenes that have never been seen before: such as eating sandwiches in the sun on top of the Sphinx, going to the ancient Roman amphitheater to pick up girls and fight or something. Money well spent.
Oh sorry. My words above are ambiguous. I mean the $85M invested is well spent. The dozen or so knives that the audience spends are even eating a hamburger that they accidentally choked on.
I usually put it on the trailer at the end of the review, watch it a few more times, and forget about the movie.
