First, Verstappen lost the championship because of a left rear tire puncture. Later, after the Hamilton red flag, the tires were too warm before the static start (the brakes were smoking before the start). After starting, the tires locked and rushed out of the track and lost it. When I got the second place, as a team LH, when I was so angry that I was vomiting blood, I could only silently repeat the classic lines of the first season:
For the team, the last two laps may be stable, but for wdc, the chance to win the first place will never be missed. The absurdity of the sub-station champion Jedi's counterattack and falling to the end was only a moment. Although it is a pity, I can really understand the mentality of the top drivers who are increasingly pursuing the limit in the desperate situation. It is ugly to lose, but it is definitely not defeated. Sprinting with full force in front of you without reservation, this is the charm of competitive sports, right??
