The tree of life is the way the director wants to shoot the family and the world by making a documentary. Relationship and thinking, there is a feeling of holding a dv to shoot home video tapes + documentaries, but there are almost no lines and actors' performances that are not good, it feels like an awkward filming.
At the time of the journey, there are almost no actors, all the pictures and documentary scenes shot by DV, and the "actors" appeared at the end. Some scenes are quite 2001, and the embarrassment of the tree of life is gone. It wasn't until the name of the writer + director appeared at the end that I realized that this was an unethical drama.
