The movie was divided into several times before I watched it, and every time I watch it, I will be overwhelmed by this repressive tone. I finally finished watching it today, just like when I first met this movie three years ago, I still think it is a work of God.
I didn’t really like crime movies, but when Jimmy was crying and crying in the park, I did know that this was the performance I wanted to see.
Dave experienced the ravages of pedophilia when he was young, and this incident deeply affected him for twenty-five years until his death. His life is a tragic story, and what is even more tragic than tragic is that he has a wife like Celeste.
The final scenes of the movie were given to the three families. Here, Jimmy and Dave’s wife are in sharp contrast. Celeste did not help when her husband was confused, but instead beat him back, believing that he was the murderer of Katie. In contrast, his husband, Dave, is still brave. He dared to kill the boring pedophile by confronting his inner fear, and he dared to bear the unreasonable charges in order to survive. On the other side, Annabeth knew that her husband wanted to kill someone by mistake. There was nothing wrong and did not stop it. Although her last remarks were indeed outrageous, they were still a bright spot in Jimmy’s shameless life.
By the way, I really like the two supporting actresses in this film. Laura Linne doesn’t need to say much. Marcia performed well in this film. She would like to give everyone a hang~ it’s also her film "The Mist" "Naturally make you have the urge to smash the computer.
In the final parade of the film, Jimmy and Sean are very sweet with their family. Although Jimmy’s daughter is dead, he can still recover from his grief. On the contrary, the tragic Dave’s family is still the most tragic. The child is here. On the parade car, I was saddened by my father’s departure. With this kind of mother’s upbringing, I am afraid I will be in another cycle afterwards.
The movie's name is "Mystic River", and this river that runs through the city is buried in Jimmy's sins, Dave's death and Sean's truth. But who knows what is hidden under this gloomy river?
