As a classic old film, the plot of "Predator" now seems to be a movie with the ending can be seen at a glance. From the appearance of Dach, played by Schwarzenegger, it can be seen that this film is conventional American personal heroism. In the movie, the plot must be a classic plot in which the protagonist team sacrifices one after another, and the hero finally defeats the monster after a fierce battle.
The highlight of this film is the rendering of horror and the setting of suspense.
1. At the beginning of the film, from Dach’s reception of rescue missions, and Dillon’s abnormal reaction, the investigation of the crashed helicopter, and finally Billy found the skinned corpse in the bushes, which came to the film’s first horror climax. The unusualness reveals that this is not a simple rescue operation. The setting of suspense makes people think of the terrible horror that the protagonist group will experience afterwards...

In the first half of the film, the predator uses the infrared thermal hunter's perspective to observe the actions of the protagonist group, which makes people full of imagination of the creature like the predator: how does it monitor the protagonist group while not being discovered? What does this monster look like? When is it going to shoot? How to kill? The audience's fear of the unknown of the predator reached its extreme, especially the infrared hunter's perspective made me horrified when watching the movie.
3. In the end, the predator appeared, the protagonist group sacrificed one after another, and their deaths were miserable. Finally, Dach and the predator battled wits and courage in the jungle at night. One is a hunter, and the other is a hunted person who wants to survive and avenge his companions. The jungle at night is fighting each other, and this section makes people breathless. Although the plot is slightly thin, both the hunting perspective of the predator and the setting of jungle hunting make people full of fear of the unknown to the extreme, so I think this film is a very good science fiction horror film
