From beginning to end, I just felt great depression and sadness, as well as the heaviness of history. After all, when the film was released in the 1940s, Hitler's dictatorship in Germany was in full swing, and the pressure on the Jewish community became stronger. The few elements of peace that existed in the first place have been diminished, and the barriers and high walls of hatred caused by inflammatory discourse have been erected everywhere. People started hatred between ethnic groups, and they attacked each other like hatred. The thorns that the seeds of extreme ideas spread in people's hearts wiped out the warmth and light of human nature. Beneath the thorns lies a barren scorched earth. The many problems brought about by the extreme ethnicity and racism at that time are worthy of lessons from future generations.
